Overview

STMicroelectronics has extended its offering of IGBT intelligent power modules with the introduction of the second series of SLLIMM intelligent power modules. Thanks to the optimal trade-off between conduction and switching energy, combined with outstanding robustness and EMI behaviour, they increase the efficiency of motor drive applications working up to 20 kHz. They are available in a full moulded or DBC-based package delivering high collector currents.The Small Low-Loss Intelligent Molded Modules (SLLIMM™) enhance the efficiency of home appliance motor drives. Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs) provide a direct connection between a low-voltage microcontroller and a mains-powered electric motor.
